It can be hard working out what profit margins are like in different industries. But there can be clues. On the 26th May 2025, the FT reported on a theft of Charlotte Tilbury (CT) products from a warehouse.

Apparently, the operator of the warehouse is seeking to recover from the security company the £750,000 compensation it paid to CT. This covers the value of the stolen products and transport costs.

The article also states that 242,000 products were stolen. Which makes it about £3 per product. If you look at the CT webpage below, you get some idea of the prices at which their products retail.
